CASSOULET 
1 1/2 lb. white Navy beans
Salt pork, sauteed in sm. pieces
1 lg. chopped onion
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 lg. can tomatoes, chopped
12 skinned chicken thighs
1 pkg. bratwurst sausage
1 pkg. Kielbasa
2 tbsp. chili powder
Salt, pepper, bay leaf, fresh basil

Soak beans overnight. Drain and rinse. Cover beans with water and cook 1 1/2 hours. Saute salt pork and onions and add to beans while they cook. Add tomatoes after the first hour.

Bake chicken in microwave with seasonings, chili power, salt, pepper, bay leaves and basil. Place 6 pieces of chicken in each of 2 casserole dishes. Cut sausages into bite-sizes and distribute between the two dishes. Pour beans over all, tossing gently. Bake 45 minutes cover and 45 minutes uncovered at 350 degrees. Serves: 12.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
