BANANA BREAD 
2 eggs
1/2 c. soft shortening
2 ripe bananas, peeled & sliced
2/3 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 8 x 4 inch loaf pan. Combine eggs, shortening, bananas and sugar in glass container of blender. Cover and blend about 30 seconds, or until smooth. Sift dry ingredients together into bowl. Pour blender combination over dry ingredients. Stir only to combine. Pour into greased loaf pan. bake about 45 minutes at 350 degrees until lightly browned. Turn out of pan and cool on rack. Store wrapped tightly in refrigerator. Makes 1 loaf.
