CANDIED CARROTS 
10 carrots, med. size
1/4 c. light brown sugar
6 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. butter

Boil the carrots in salted water for 25 minutes or until tender. Combine butter and sugar in saucepan on low heat until sugar melts. Drain carrots, put in baking dish. Cover with sugar and butter mixture. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes or until carrots are glazed, baste often.
