BUTTERSCOTCH BARS 
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
2 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter, add brown sugar. Blend in eggs. Add rest of ingredients. Blend until mixed very well. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot. Cut into squares and remove from pan to cool.
