NUT BREAD 
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. shortening
2 c. milk (sour)
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
raisins and nuts (as desired)

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into loaf pans. Fill 1/2 from the top.

Bake at 325°F about 1 hour.
