PINEAPPLE, CHEESE, NUT SALAD 
1 can chunk pineapple (med. size)
1/2 c. American cheese, cut sm. pieces
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg

Drain juice from pineapple in saucepan, bring to boil, then add 3 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cornstarch. Remove small amount of mixture. Add 1 egg. Combine mixture in pan, stir until smooth. Cool. Then stir in remaining ingredients. Refrigerate. Good served with ham or pork.
