1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. butter, melted 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. milk 3 1/2 c. Cool Whip, thawed 2 pts. strawberries, hulled & halved 2 (4-serving size) pkgs. Jello vanilla flavor instant pudding & pie filling (regular or sugar-free) 3 1/2 c. cold milk Or use 1 package (6 serving size) instant pudding and 2 cups cold milk. Combine crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and melted butter. Press firmly into bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan. Chill. Beat cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons milk until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread over crust. Arrange strawberries in even layers. Using 3 1/2 cups cold milk, prepare pudding as directed on package. Pour over berries. Chill several hours or overnight. Shortly before serving, spread remaining whipped topping over pudding. Garnish with additional strawberries, if desired. Chill. Makes 15 servings. Can also use 3 bananas sliced or 4 cups sliced fresh peaches or 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained. |
