SPAGHETTI WITH GARLIC AND CHEESE 
1 lb. thin spaghetti
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
6 tbsp. olive oil
6 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. About 5 minutes before the spaghetti is done, heat the oil in a 10 inch skillet over low heat. Add the garlic and cook uncovered for 3 minutes. Stir in the butter until melted, remove from the heat. Drain the spaghetti thoroughly in a colander, place in a warm serving bowl with the cheese, and serve with the vegetable salad.
