FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
9" baked pie shell
6 c. fresh strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

Bake pie shell and allow to cool. Mash enough berries to measure 1 cup. Stir together with water, sugar and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Cool.

Beat cream cheese until smooth. Spread on bottom of pie shell. Fill with remaining berries, pour cooked mixture over top. Chill for at least 3 hours or until set. Serve with whipped cream.
