1 stewing hen
3 c. rich broth
5 slices bread
5 whole eggs

Cook stewing hen, salt to taste. Remove from bones and cut fine with kitchen shears. Add 3 cups rich broth, bring to a boil. Add 5 slices of bread, broken into pieces as for dressing. Stir until bread dissolves into broth, then heat to low and slowly stir in well beaten eggs. Cook until thickened. Serve on hot sandwich buns. Can put in crockpot to keep warm.
