FRUIT SOUP 
1 lb. dried prunes
1 c. raisin (I like white)
1 c. raisins (dark)
2 lemons, cut sm.
2 apples, cut sm.
4-5 pieces cinnamon bark
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. minute tapioca

Soak prunes overnight in cold water. In a.m. add rest of fruit and cover well with cold water and cook slowly until tender, keep covered with water. When done, add the sugar and tapioca and cook 15 minutes longer, stirring often to prevent tapioca from sticking. (Dried apricots are good in this, too.)
