BAKED ITALIAN CHICKEN 
1 1/2 lb. chicken, cut in pieces
1 c. tomato juice
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Put tomato juice in baking dish. Roll chicken in juice, leaving chicken skin-side down. Sprinkle spices over chicken. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

Turn chicken over and bake an additional 1/2 hour or until tomato juice is absorbed by chicken. Recipe may be doubled or tripled.
