OYSTER PIE | |
1 pt. sm. oysters (can also substitute crab meat) 1 lg. can evaporated milk 1/4 lb. saltines, crumbled 1/2 tsp. salt 3 eggs 1/2 can water (use evaporated milk can to measure) 1/4 lb. butter 1 1/2 tsp. pepper In a 2 quart baking dish, place a layer of crackers, layer of oysters, salt, pepper and then dot with butter. Repeat layers then place crackers on top. Beat together eggs, milk, water and pour over layers. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. |
