1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter
60 Kraft caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine cake mix, nuts, 1/3 cup milk and butter; mix well. Press 1/2 of the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.

Melt caramels in top of double boiler with 1/2 cup milk. When mixture is well mixed; pour over baked mixture. Cover with chocolate chips and top with remaining dough. Bake for another 18 minutes. Cool before slicing.
