GERMAN COOKED GREEN BEANS 
2 lb. cut fresh green beans
1 med. onion, sliced
6 slices bacon, fried, cut into sm. pieces
Pepper & salt to taste
1 raw potato, sliced (opt.)

Saute onions and bacon in heavy skillet. Add cut up green beans. Cook on low heat until desired tenderness.

Add raw potato sliced in wedges, 10 minutes before beans are finished cooking.
