WONDERFUL FUDGE | |
4 1/2 c. sugar 1 can evaporated milk 1/2 c. butter 1/2 lb. marshmallows 2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate 2 (6 oz.) pkgs. semi sweet chocolate pieces 3 (4 oz.) bars sweet chocolate 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans Put sugar, evaporated milk and butter in large heavy saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Cook to boiling. Cover and boil 5 minutes. Turn off heat. Add marshmallows, stir until melted. Add chocolate, one at a time stirring until melted. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into 2 buttered jelly roll pans, 15" x 10" or 2 (9") square pans. Cool until firm. Cut into squares. This fudge freezes well. This makes 5 pounds. |
