"BETTER THAN LINDY'S" CHEESE CAKE | |
3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 pt. sour cream 5 eggs 1 1/2 tbsp. vanilla extract 1 greased 10" springform pan GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST: 2 c. graham crackers, finely ground as in food processor or blender 1 stick melted butter 1/4 c. sugar Prepare crust by mixing crumbs, melted butter and sugar. Pat firmly to bottom of spring form pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl combine cream cheese and sugar. Add one egg at a time and beat well after each egg. Add sour cream and vanilla, alternating them. After all additions, beat all well and then pour the mixture into the spring form pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Shut off oven but leave cake in the oven overnight. Refrigerate the cake in the morning. Delicious! |
