1 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 egg, separated 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. water 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts Mix butter, sugar and egg yolks. Blend in flour and cinnamon. Pat into lightly greased jelly roll pan. Beat water and egg white until frothy; brush over dough, sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into 3"x1" strips. |
