MOM'S EASY BREAKFAST STRATA 
2 lbs. Italian sausage
8 eggs
10 c. bread, cubed
3 c. milk
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz. fresh mushrooms
10 oz. asparagus or broccoli
1 tbsp. butter (melted)
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt

Brown and drain sausage. In large bowl beat eggs; add other ingredients and mix well. Spoon into greased baking pans. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Bake at 375 degrees for 60-70 minutes in large pan, 50-55 minutes in 2 small pans. Serves 10-12. Can easily be cut in half to serve 5-6.
