LIZZIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
1 c. whiskey (bourbon)
3 tbsp. sweet milk
5 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. each cloves, cinnamon, allspice & nutmeg
2 lb. cherries (red & green)
2 lb. pineapples (red, green & yellow)
1 lb. raisins
1 lb. white raisins
6 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add whiskey and milk. Sift all dry ingredients (reserving 1/2 cup flour for fruit) and blend with butter mixture. Cut up fruit and mix with 1/2 cup flour before adding nuts to mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 275 degrees for 12 minutes. Approximately 100 cookies.
