BAKEWELL CREAM BISCUIT | |
4 c. flour 4 tsp. Bakewell cream 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. shortening 1/2 c. milk Mix and sift first 4 ingredients. Add shortening and mix with pastry blender. Add milk all at once and stir quickly to make soft dough. Pour out on floured board and knead. Roll out and cut. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees until done. |
