TURTLE CAKE 
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 c. water
3 eggs
3/4 c. soft butter
14 oz. bag of caramels
7 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. evaporated milk
16 oz. bag chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix together cake mix, water, eggs, and softened butter. Pour 1/2 of the batter into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.

Melt the bag of caramels in a saucepan with evaporated milk. Pour over the first layer of the cake.

Add the remaining batter. Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over the top.

Bake in a 350°F oven for an additional 30 minutes.
