1 chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. caramels, melted
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans, chopped

Mix cake according to package directions. Pour half the batter in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Layer melted caramels, chocolate chips and pecans on top of baked cake layer. Pour the rest of the batter over the turtle mixture and bake until done, about 20-30 minutes. Frost.
