TURTLE CAKE 
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. caramels
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans, chopped
3/4 c. butter
1 small can evaporated milk

Mix cake mix as directed on box. Pour 1/2 of batter in a greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan.

Bake 15 minutes at 350°F.

In a saucepan over low heat, melt caramels with milk and butter. Pour over warm cake. Sprinkle pecans over caramels, then sprinkle chocolate chips. Cover with remaining batter and cook for 25 minutes.
