TORTILLA SOUP 
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 lb. stew meat, chopped in small pieces
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 can canned tomatoes, chopped
1 can beef broth
1 can chicken broth
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. bottled steak sauce
6 tortillas, cut in 1/2 inch strips
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

In saucepan, saute onion, garlic, stew meat and chiles in oil. Add tomatoes, broths, water, tomato juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, steak sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Add tortillas and simmer 10 minutes longer. Top with cheese.
