OVEN BEEF STEW | |
2 lb. stew beef (1 1/2" cubes) 2 onions 3 stalks celery 4 med. carrots 2 med. potatoes 1 c. tomato juice 1/3 c. tapioca 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper (Use beef broth for extra liquid if needed) Bake all ingredients in casserole pan 3 1/2 hours in 300 degree oven. Makes 2 1/2 quarts. |
