FRENCH OVEN BEEF STEW 
1 1/2 lbs. beef stew meat
1 lg. onion, sliced
2-3 stalks celery
4-6 carrots
3-4 potatoes
32 oz. can tomato juice
3 tbsp. tapioca
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. pepper

Mix first five ingredients. Mix together remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over meat mixture. Mix all together in a roasting pan. Cook in a 325 degree oven for 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice or noodles.
