VEGETABLE SOUP 
2 lg. onions, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 #2 can tomato sauce
1 can white shoe peg corn
2 tsp. salt
1 (3 lb.) chuck roast (cut up, all fat removed)
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 can tomatoes, chopped
2 garlic pods, grated
1 pkg. baby lima beans
2 c. okra, sliced
1 fryer chicken, skinned & all fat removed

Boil all these ingredients together until beef and chicken are very tender. Remove bones. Add 1 teaspoon black pepper. Add salt to taste. Allow to cook at least 1 hour before serving. Always better the next day. May be frozen.
