BROCCOLI AU GRATIN 
1 lg. bunch broccoli
2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. white sauce
1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded

With vegetable peeler, scrape outside of stems. Trim bottoms. Separate stems keeping flower intact. Bring water to boil. Place broccoli and salt into water, cover and reduce heat. Cook 20 minutes or until tender. Drain. Place broccoli into baking dish. In small bowl combine white sauce with cheese and pour over broccoli. Place into a 400 degree oven 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 6.
