PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 angel food cake, broken in pieces
1 (16 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 (30 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. French vanilla pudding (instant)
1 jar maraschino cherries (topping)
1 small bag chopped nuts (topping)

Put in punch bowl - ingredients in layer - cake, pudding, pineapple, pie filling, and Cool Whip. Makes 2 layers, 1/2 of each ingredient. Last layer will be Cool Whip, then put on nuts and maraschino cherries. Refrigerate.

I put my ingredients in the refrigerator and make my pudding the night before. This way everything is already cold when you go to layer it in bowl.
