GRANDMA'S SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
3 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. sour cream

Bring butter to room temperature. Cream sugar and butter, add lemon juice, vanilla extract and eggs. Sift dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture; alternating with sour cream. Drop dough on greased cookie sheet with teaspoon. Add decoration if desired. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool thoroughly on rack before storing. Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
