1 (18 1/4 oz.) pkg. extra moist white cake mix
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 egg
2 tsp. milk
1/4 tsp. lemon or vanilla extract
1/4 c. sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine and blend thoroughly cake mix, butter, egg, milk, and extract. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake 12 minutes or until golden. Makes 3 dozen cookies.

Note: My family likes this: Spread dough in 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle top with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until done to the touch.
