SQUASH CASSEROLE 
1 lb. squash (5 or 6 med. to sm.) yellow
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
1/2 c. grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. cracker crumbs with butter for topping

Cook squash, add butter, salt and pepper, then mix egg, sugar, mayonnaise, nuts and cheese with squash. Mix well. Put in greased casserole dish, crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes until brown and bubbly.
