HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
9 med. potatoes
6 slices bacon
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
Dash of pepper
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar

Peel and boil potatoes in salt water until tender; drain. In large skillet fry bacon; remove and cook onions until tender. Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed, pepper; cook over low heat, stir until bubbly. Remove from heat.

Stir in water and vinegar. Heat to boiling; cook for 1 minute. Crumble bacon in mixture; slice cooled potatoes into mixture. Stir while heating for 3 to 4 minutes. Serves 6.
