BACON AND BROCCOLI SALAD 
4 c. broccoli
1/2 c. chopped onions with greens
1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and cut up
1 can water chestnuts

DRESSING:

1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 tbsp. cider vinegar

Cut broccoli into small flowerettes; chop small stems. DO NOT use large stem. Rinse broccoli and drain; roll in towel pat dry. Add onions and water chestnuts and bacon.

Mix sugar, mayonnaise and vinegar to make dressing. ADD JUST BEFORE serving.
