APPLE PIE FILLING 
10 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. cornstarch
2 tbsp. lemon juice
5 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
Approx. 1 bu. apples

Mix everything except the apples together in a large pan. Cook until thick, stirring occasionally. Add peeled and sliced apples until you get the apples to the desired thickness. Put pie filling in quart jars. Apply lids and rings. Process in a hot water bath for 20 minutes. Yield: 5-7 quarts.
