MOLASSES AND SPICE COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. molasses

Cool melted butter. Add sugar, salt, egg and molasses. Add dry ingredients. Mix until well blended. Form into walnut-sized balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with back of fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
