COOKIES:

1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/3 c. whip cream

ICING:

1/4 c. butter
1 egg yolk
1 c. powdered sugar

Cookies:

Mix together. Roll out. Cut into circles. Dip in sugar. Prick top with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet until light brown.

Icing:

Mix all ingredients until smooth. Add food coloring. Blend well. Top each cookie with icing, or for layered effect, put icing between two finished cookies.
