RUSSIAN TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Mix butter and powdered sugar; stir in nuts, flour and salt. Shape dough into balls. Put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes at 400 degrees. "Don't brown." Roll in powdered sugar.
