4 oz. flour
2 oz. butter
2 oz. sugar
6 apples (Granny Smith)

Mix flour and butter with fingers to make crumbs. When it resembles fine bread crumbs, add sugar and mix with fork or knife. Cut apples, put in pan with quart cup of water. Add sugar. Put on stove for 5 minutes. Put apples in pie dish, then put crumb mix on top. Put in oven for 30 minutes at 375 degrees.

Can be served hot or cold with ice cream or fresh whipped cream.
