FRESH CRANBERRY GLAZE 
GREAT as a barbecue sauce for chicken or pork!

1 (12 oz.) bag fresh cranberries
1 cup applesauce
1 or 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
1 tbsp. chopped ginger
2 tsp. orange or lemon zest
1/4 cup orange or lemon juice
1/2 cup maple syrup and/or honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 or 3 dashes cinnamon
1/8 cup Grand Marnier (optional)
1 tsp. cornstarch (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil 5 minutes. Let stand.
