FRESH CRANBERRY RELISH 
This family favorite recipe calls for 1 pound of fresh cranberries, which is how they were sold for the longest time. At some point the standard package was reduced to 12 ounces and it would not surprise me if it eventually reaches 8 ounces. On the bright side, the math will be easier.

So, when using a 12 oz. bag of cranberries, adjust the sugar to 1 1/2 cups.

1 (16 oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries
2 apples
2 oranges
2 cups sugar

Wash and drain cranberries. Do not peel apples and oranges. Remove seeds and core. Grind all together. Add sugar. Put in large container or individual cups and refrigerate.

Make before Thanksgiving and save some for Christmas.
