MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN | |
1 c. brown sugar 1 cube butter 1/4 c. light corn syrup 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 3 1/2 qts. popped popcorn 1 c. peanuts (opt.) Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in a large bowl that may be used in the microwave. Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes or until the mixture comes to a boil. Remove from microwave and add soda. Add popcorn and peanuts and mix well. Return to microwave and cook for about two more minutes. |
