BAR - B - Q BEEF 
1 1/2 lbs. beef cubes
4 tbsp. oil
2 cans beef consomme
1 c. water (1/2 in cooking, 1/2 to thicken)
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. mustard
2 lg. cloves garlic
Dash of Tabasco sauce
4 lg. onions, diced (or fr. pearl onions)
2 med. green peppers, diced
2 sm. cans mushrooms
4 tbsp. cornstarch or flour

In skillet, brown beef cubes in oil. Add rest of the ingredients. (Add only 1/2 cup of water.) Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Gradually blend 1/2 cup water into cornstarch or flour until smooth. Stir into stew. Serve over rice or noodles. This can also be made in a crock pot.
