1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. lemon juice or vanilla flavoring
1 can pie filling
Confectioners' sugar

Gradually add sugar to butter in a large bowl. Mix until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well continuously. Add flour and lemon juice. Grease a 10"x15" jelly roll pan. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth it out in pan. Mark off into 20 squares with sharp knife; placing heaping tablespoon pie filling in center of each square.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. While warm, sift on XXXX sugar. Cool, then cut into 20 square servings.
