1 pkg. cake mix (yellow or white)
6 to 8 apples, peel & slice thin
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Confectioners sugar

Mix cake mix according to package directions. Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with apple slices. Sprinkle with combined brown sugar and cinnamon. Drizzle with melted butter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool. Dust with confectioners sugar.

Note: You can reduce calories, (but not taste!) by using a lite cake mix and butter. Can cut brown sugar and cinnamon in half.
