WHIPPED CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sifted cake flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. heavy cream
2 c. superfine granulated sugar
4 lg. eggs, beaten
2 tsp. almond extract or vanilla

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and set aside. Whip cream until thickened, but not stiff enough to hold a peak. Fold the sugar into the whipped cream, then the beaten eggs and flavoring. Add the dry ingredients, folding in carefully and blending only until smooth. Never overmix. Turn batter into 10" tube pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
