CARAMEL CORN FOR MICROWAVE 
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. corn syrup
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Popped corn

Fill 1/4 full a paper grocery bag with popped corn.

Mix sugar, syrup, butter and salt. Heat in microwave until it begins to boil. Boil 2 minutes. Take out and add soda; stir until foamy. Pour over corn in bag; stir with wooden spoon. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Take out and shake bag. Repeat 3 times. Tear open bag and spread out corn to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
