HARD CHRISTMAS CANDY 
1 c. white Karo
4 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp. spice oil
Food coloring
Powdered sugar

Cook Karo, sugar and water to 300 degrees (hard cook) on candy thermometer. Remove from heat. Add oil and color. Beat. Cover cookie sheets with powdered sugar. Pour hot candy in strips over powdered sugar. When cool break into pieces.
