HARD TACK CANDY | |
1 c. water 1 c. white Karo 2 c. sugar 1 sm. bottle candy flavoring Boil water, Karo and sugar on medium-high heat until candy thermometer reaches "hard-crack" stage. Remove from heat. Add 1 bottle of flavoring and stir well. Mixture will be extremely hot. Pour onto greased cookie sheet. Let cool a few minutes, then cut apart into small bite-size pieces. Use scissors to cut apart. |
